The artist who makes this special edition unique is Innokenti Baranov. He was born in Moscow in 1974, studied graphic design, painting and animation in Moscow and Vienna and his works were shown at exhibitions in Vienna, Moscow, New York, Berlin, Hamburg and Frankfurt. As a wine connoisseur and lover of the Tuscan landscape and culture, he immediately agreed to the idea of this special edition after a visit to our winery and, of course, an extensive wine tasting. This not only gave rise to a lasting friendship, but also a unique project.
Our wine grows on the sunny hills at the foot of Monte Aneo , not far from the Ligurian Sea, in the DOC growing area of Montescudaio . Its deep, dark red color and aromas of red berries and a hint of vanilla are impressive. Its tannic structure and earthy base note reveal the terroir with its heavy, loamy soils and the sunny and rain-poor growing seasons. In the Campordigno vineyard , our Cabernet Sauvignon is cultivated organically, carefully harvested by hand and carefully pressed. It is stored in French oak barrels as a single variety and is bottled after a maturation period of around two years.
